This past month we’ve seen enormous rise in NFL players taking a knee while the national anthem was played in protest of President Trump and racial inequality. Since the number of NFL kneelers kept on growing, fans all over the country responded by turning off their TVs and boycotting the league.

This past weekend, one fed-up NFL fan decided to send a brutal message to the millionaire players who continue to kneel.
Jacksonville resident Terry Smiley was furious when he saw many Jacksonville Jaguar players taking a knee during the anthem. He decided to take action by hiring a pilot to fly a banner over EverBank Field before the Jacksonville Jaguars’ game against the Los Angeles Rams. The banner read, “Be American. Boycott the Jags and the NFL.”
“I am asking people to boycott the football games. I don’t watch it on TV,” Smiley said.
He went on to say that he has some questions that he’d love to ask the Jaguar players.
“Do you believe in your country? Do you believe in ‘The Star-Spangle Banner?’ If you don’t stand up for it now, you won’t have it in the future,” Smiley said.
“I have the right to protest and I’m going to protest it with bumper stickers, airplanes – whatever I go to do. I will continue to protest,” Smiley continued. “We boycott them and we hit them in the pocketbook where it (hurts) them. (Before) long, we’ll have them on both of their knees.”
“We have people who are legitimate concerns who happen to be NFL players. They still live in the community. They have a right to protest. That’s (Smiley’s) right. Just like the NFL players who take their knee that’s their right. He has the right to do what he is doing,” Jaguars fan Calvin Sinclair said.
This comes after Freedom Daily reported that NBC has warned the NFL that after Papa John’s founder John Schnatter announced that they would begin removing NFL-related advertisements, other mega-sponsors are mulling whether to follow the pizza chain and pull future ads from the 2017 season. NBC-Universal executive Linda Yaccarino said at a round-table discussion that Papa John’s “wasn’t alone” in expressing their outrage over months of professional athletes “taking a knee” during the US national anthem.
“None of NBC-Universal’s NFL advertisers have pulled out of NBC’s Sunday Night Football or Thursday Night Football games. However, a ‘list of advertisers have made themselves very clear: if you continue covering the political coverage of the issue, we will not be part of the NFL,’” she said. “Because think about it: they have half the country that is cheering about that, and they have half the country that is emailing them, saying, don’t do that. So that’s a real thing.”
This movement was initially started by Colin Kaepernick, a former San Francisco 49ers quarterback who regrets this move so much right now, as no team is willing to take him in.
