Washington D.C. has long had a reputation for being rife with sex scandals, but this year they seem to be rivaling Hollywood with their dedication to sullying the reputation of almost every office in the city with some sordid affair. The question now becomes, which of these scandals are real, and which are political ploys to change election results.
From Politics Pot:
Over the past few weeks, Alabama’s Republican senatorial candidate Judge Roy Moore has been hit with numerous sexual misconduct claims by women who have supposedly come forwards now after staying silent for decades. Though he has never been accused of sexual misconduct before, and most of the women have decades-old claims with no proof, the mainstream media has reported each of their claims as absolute fact.
Now, however, it looks like at least one of the accusers has been caught with her hand in the cookie jar…
Freedom Daily reported that one of Moore’s accusers is Tina Johnson, a woman who says that a visit to Moore’s office ended with him groping her from behind as she was leaving. Her story is a bit odd since Moore was an attorney of Johnson’s mother instead of for her. He was hired to try and secure custody of Johnson’s son because Johnson was herself accused of being mentally unstable and even committing fraud against a family member.
Johnson was at Moore’s office with her mother the day she was supposedly groped to sign over custody of her son to her mother when for some reason her mother left the room and Johnson stayed, even though Moore wasn’t Johnson’s attorney, he was her mother’s. Both Moore and his receptionist, who was just a few feet away at the time, say this story is a complete lie. Now, court records have come out showing that Johnson is a deeply disturbed individual who wasn’t even fit to take care of her own child and who was willing to steal from her family.
Breitbart reported that court documents show that Johnson’s own mother believed her to be an unfit, absent, and unstable mother and was accused of taking her son from his elementary school against his will. Johnson’s mother signed an affidavit saying that her daughter had a “violent nature” and noted that she “has been treated by a psychiatrist when she was approximately 15 years of age.”
Criminal documents have revealed that as late as 2010, Johnson was arrested and pled guilty to felony fraud charges related to checks belonging to a family member. In addition, she has been forced to undergo court-ordered drug treatment programs.
Clearly, this woman has a long history of lying for her own personal gain and has no credibility whatsoever. It’s sad that thanks to the liberal media, nobody can question Johnson’s story without being accused of “victim-blaming.”
Adams worked for Moore in 1991 at the time of Johnson’s accusations. Adams’s desk was right outside his office door at the time. Adams’ name was signed as a notary on one of the custody documents filed in Johnson’s case on behalf of Johnson’s mother, Cofield.
Numerous attempts to reach Johnson for comment were unsuccessful.
Moore has strenuously denied the numerous accusations against him.
