As inauguration day is closing in, President-elect Trump found it a little bit hard to collect a crew of artists that will perform on the day. Many were afraid that, were they to participate in the Presidential inauguration, they would get themselves into trouble. So, given the circumstances, the Trump team was astonished when the fabled singer Paul Anka agreed to perform at President-elect Trump’s inauguration.
According to Radar Online, Anka is believed to play his hit song “My Way” on January 20th with lyrics specially written for President-elect Trump.
“Paul was asked by the members of the Trump inauguration committee and he was only too happy to do it for his longtime friend,” said a source close to Anka.
“While everyone else was running scared from performing at the inauguration, Paul stood fast,” the source added. “He wasn’t about to be intimated by anyone!”
Singer Paul Anka is the author of the famous Frank Sinatra’s signature song’s lyrics, My Way.
“Now, Paul has re-written those lyrics especially for Donald Trump, which he will perform during the inaugural dance for Donald and his lovely First Lady, Melania” said the source. “Paul won’t let the cat out of the bag or reveal his new lyrics yet, but will be tailor-made for President Trump. . .and it will be huge!”
Among Paul Anka, there are others who agreed to perform on inauguration day, such as rapper Flo Rida, who $1 million for his performance. Together with teenage opera singer Jackie Evancho, the Rockettes, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, on January 20th they will welcome Donald Trump as our 45th president.
